Eau de Paris – BMS

CONTEXT

Our customer Eau de Paris has entrusted Bossard teams with modernisation and renewal of Building Management Systems at Joinville plant.

Project goals :
Replacement of  existing infrastructure: equipment and networks
Updating OS versions and BMS related applications to meet security objectives set by LPM.
Modernisation of this installation involves moving from a software PLC with a SuiteLink link to the BMS system to an event-driven exchange system between a new PLC that has already been programmed and the entire BMS at Joinville plant.

Supervision is provided by 6 fixed operating thin client workstations, as well as several nomadic thin client workstations, connected in RDP session (remote desktop) via the BMS network to a pair of virtualised redundant servers, ensuring  processing of field data and various user sessions.

At application level, the supervision system is based on an Intouch TagServer architecture (Intouch 2020r2) implemented in 2 Ms Windows Server 2019 servers in a virtualised environment, as well as an Ms Remote Desktop Service architecture (formerly Terminal Service) for the Intouch Client operating part, with redundancy via link definitions at client application level.

An Ms Windows Server 2019 type history server in a virtualised environment, using Historian Server software, will ensure the history of analog data and selected digital data (chronogram), and will be able to process the aggregation of this data. This application will return all this data (raw, resampled or aggregated) to various tasks such as objects or applications for displaying trend curves, Historian clients (MsExcel application or tools) and applications for generating balance sheets.

The video wall is made up of several cabinets (receptacle section), each housing several LED panels with a pixel pitch of 1.2mm. The cabinets are designed to be stackable and borderless, with no need for power or signal cables. The total resolution of this display is 2400×1620 pixels for a dimension of approximately 2x3m.
